CLUB ATLÉTICO LA PAZ RETURNS WITH 3 POINTS FROM TLAXCALA

The team from Baja California Sur overcame Coyotes de Tlaxcala 3-2 at Tlahuicole Stadium. Matchday 6 was a hard-fought match that was defined in the final minutes.

In the first few minutes, the home team proposed, but could not generate danger. Chapito" Gutiérrez recovered a ball in the danger zone and gave it to Héctor Sandoval, who scored in front of "Kampa" Ruiz after a wall with Ulises Jaimes.

Coyotes constantly sought to put crosses into the area but there was no one to close the gap. The Paceños began to dominate at the end of the first half and "Wacho" Sandoval made it 2-0 with a shot  into the upper right corner of the home goal.

The score remained 2-0 and the teams went to the break. In the second half, the Tlaxcaltecas reacted and managed to tie the score with goals from Javier Hernández at minute 48 and Paolo Ríos at minute 76.

At the end of the match, Raúl Rico made offensive changes and Tlaxcala was down a man after Ernesto Reyes was red-carded. Luck smiled on the visitors, who found the definitive advantage with an own goal by Fernando Ramírez, who sliced a cross from Héctor Sandoval while trying to reject and sent the ball into his own nets.
