VICTORY IN GUADALAJARA; LA PAZ TOOK AWAY UDG'S UNDEFEATED

The team coached by Raul Rico defeated the University of Guadalajara with a convincing 4-2. The team from Guadalajara was undefeated after 11 games, but the sucalifornians played a great game and took the 3 points.

The match started with a constant fight for the ball but the visitors took an early advantage. In the 9th minute, Flavio Santos assisted Michelle Benítez, who only had to push the ball into the net. Benítez scored her double 11 minutes later; the "sinaloense" moved to the first post from a corner kick and headed the ball into the net to break the "Melenudas" net again.

UDG responded to the visitors' goals by generating dangerous plays, but goalkeeper Jonathan Estrada intervened on several occasions to prevent his goal from being scored. The 2-0 score remained until the end of the first 45 minutes.

In the second half, both teams moved the bench and made changes. Leones Negros continued to push forward, but it was Club Atlético La Paz that benefited from this situation by taking advantage of the spaces to counterattack.

The Paceños increased the lead to 4-0. In the 60th minute, Flavio Santos scored first after a pass from "Lucho" Pérez and in the 73rd minute, Nahúm Gómez finished a play in which he combined with Ulises Jaimes.
With this result, Club Atlético La Paz now has 22 points and moved up to third place in the table.

In their next game, The Paceños will play away again vs Cimarrones de Sonora.
